Jacob’s Ladder Nature Club is a holistic, outdoor, child-led learning center, where children play and learn in a safe, neuro-affirming environment.
Our approach is based on scaffolded, experiential learning, with the goal of igniting each child’s curiosity and passion, while also nurturing a strong connection to the natural world.
Mission Statement
While our primary mission pertains to children, we welcome everyone that needs to get outside, breathe, and connect with the great outdoors.
We invite groups seeking a special meeting place, non profit organizations, homeschool field trips. We also welcome volunteers!
How can we expect humans to appreciate nature unless they experience it first hand?
Nature is not a place to visit. It’s where we live.
Message from the founder, Carol Brozosky
When I was young, my family and I camped across the country. These early life experiences immersed me in the beauty of the natural world and taught me to appreciate the outdoors.
Developing a Passion for Nature
Over time, I developed a deep respect for the environment and a strong aversion to the messes created by humans. Witnessing the impact of human activity on the natural world shaped my perspective and values.
Inspiring the Next Generation
My passion for nature inspires me to teach sustainability and our connection with natural resources. It is critical that we immerse humans into nature, make better choices, and take an active role to save Planet Earth for future generations. Starting now.
Homeschool/ Preschool Nature Club
Jacob’s Ladder Homeschool Nature Center, is situated in a picturesque forest outside of Mullica Hill, NJ. It serves to augment what parents/caregivers already provide for their home schooling children. We also have a program for preschoolers!
The premise is to encourage child-led education, hands on problem solving, and freedom to explore nature with their peers.
Jacob’s Ladder Retreat Center is not your typical meeting spot. But so amazing. We invite…
Support group meetings
Yoga and Meditative Use; Forest Bathing
Church youth groups
Homeschooler groups

Through Nature
“Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.”

What was true in the days of John Muir, is so true today, especially with children. Here are a couple videos discussing children needing to move outdoors!
