How can we expect humans to appreciate nature unless they experience it first hand?

Message from the founder, Carol Brozosky

When I was young, my family and I camped across the country. These early life experiences immersed me in the beauty of the natural world and taught me to appreciate the outdoors.

Developing a Passion for Nature

As I spent more time in nature, I developed a deep respect for the environment and a strong aversion to the messes created by humans. Witnessing the impact of human activity on the natural world shaped my perspective and values.

Professional Path in Environmental Compliance

These formative experiences guided me toward a fulfilling career in environmental compliance. I dedicated many years to ensuring that organizations followed regulations designed to protect the environment.

Inspiring the Next Generation

My passion for nature inspires me to teach sustainability and our connection with natural resources. It is critical that we immerse humans into nature, make better choices, and take an active role to save Planet Earth for future generations.   Starting now.

Homeschool/ Preschool Nature Club

Jacob’s Ladder Homeschool Nature Center, is situated in a picturesque forest outside of Mullica Hill, NJ.  It serves to augment what parents/caregivers already provide for their home schooling children. We also have a program for preschoolers!

The premise is to encourage child-led education, hands on problem solving, and freedom to explore nature with their peers.
