Children are not always homeschooled simply by choice; many are homeschooled because public schools cannot accommodate their needs. Families of neurodivergent children are finding us. Families that cannot afford programs such as this are receiving aid. Thanks to the donations of our generous supporters - for this Fall program alone - we have offered nearly $2000 in financial assistance.
Your generous giving allows children – regardless of race, gender, religion, learning abilities, income – to come together. Friendships are being formed. Collaboration. Risky play. Discovery together. Low demand leadership allowing child-led learning.

Immediate Needs for Construction and Preparation:
Work continues to add to our base camp, and we would love your help! Our next plans include a platform and creative work stations. You can be a part of something positive and wonderful as we create this haven for children and community.
Upcoming plans - seeking land donation: Picture your next meeting under a canopy of trees! Our long term plans include a Nature Center for meetings and programs for adults. We envision treehouses centered around a rustic lodge that will serve as a meeting spot for year-round events.
JLR is also committed to building an all inclusive experience. We are inspired by organizations that help children and adults alike with disabilities. All terrain motorized wheelchairs are often out of reach for families with special needs. We also envision treehouses to be ADA accessible. If you have a forested property that you would like to preserve for many years to come, we invite you to consider an endowment to make these dreams a reality.
